Forging
State-of-the-art hydraulic forging presses, including 2 fast-acting open die forging presses (350-ton and 500-ton), to focus on customized multi-material product sizes with minimal set-up time between jobs. Sierra Alloys forges premium finished blocks and other rectangular cross-section and flat-bar products.
Rolling
Unique rolling capabilities to produce plate in custom sizes up to 14” wide affords our customers a wide range of multi-material customized products, sizes and order quantities from large production runs to special minimum quantity orders with minimal set-up time for the most operational flexibility and reliable delivery performance in the industry to provide customers total cost savings by supplying the exact product width they need for the job.
Heat Treatment
Advanced furnace capabilities contribute to an outstanding operating efficiency, enhanced production scheduling, increased capacity and improved delivery reliability through in-house heat treat capability with NADCAP certification.
Cutting
An extensive array of cutting equipment and capabilities exceeding those found in specialty cutting operations. Numerous auto-indexing band saws, with capacities up to 22 in. can provide a variety of cutting services, including precise cut-to-length requirements. Large capacity plate saws can cut plates, slabs and forging products.
